As a mother, I have choosen my most important role to nurture and care for my family. The love and support I provide to my son has been the driving force behind many of my life choices. Balancing the demands of motherhood with my professional ambitions has been a rewarding challenge. I’ve worked diligently to instill the love of reading as I watch him explore the world through books and nurturing his imagination has been a source of immense joy, for me.

Professionally, I am a nurse. The healthcare field has always been my calling, and I find immense fulfillment in caring for others. Over the years, I have worked in various healthcare settings, from pre-hospital ambulance care, to outpatient physician offices, to clinics, and acute care hospitals in both the emergency department and the in the critical care units. I have witnessed the resilience of the human spirit in the face of illness and adversity.

My journey in education began with a Bachelor of Arts in Sports Medicine. This foundation in sports medicine provided me with valuable insights into the human body’s mechanics and the importance of physical well-being. It laid the groundwork for my future endeavors in healthcare and education.

Education has been a cornerstone of my life. I hold a Master of Education, which has allowed me to not only enhance my own knowledge but also to contribute to the learning and development of others. I have been intricately involved in my son’s education and while instilling the value of reading and learning in him I rekindled my love of reading and education. Motherhood has reminded me that I believe in education as a powerful tool that can transform and shape lives.

Throughout my life, I have strived to merge my passion for healthcare with the power of education. My career has been a testament to my commitment to helping others, and I’ve nurtured a life of love in my son, encouraging him to explore the world through imagination and books.

My hope is that the books I review show the values I hold dear: motherhood, healthcare, education, humor, love, the pursuit of happiness and knowledge. These aspects of my life have intertwined to create a unique and fulfilling journey that I am proud to share with you.
